Reflection- History of Photojournalism & Visual Media Week 2

Workshop notes:

In these workshops we learnt about the origins of image acquisition and the earliest technology such as camera obscuras and concave mirrors. This was useful as I hadn’t really researched the history of photography before cameras. In this workshop we also learnt about the work of Louis Daguerre, Henry Talbot and Edward Muybridge. We were given the second task to our final assignment which was to create an timeline in our own time displaying the history of image acquisition, I enjoyed this as I learnt a lot about the history of photography, and image production before photography.
